Livingston Farmers Market

Yesterday kicked off the first Livingston Farmers Market of the season. Happening every Thursday until October, you can escape the city and come out to Madison county and enjoy yourself with some Oh Brother Lemonade, or if you're looking for something to take the edge off, stop at Colony Wine Market's homemade bar for some of their delicious wines.

Each Thursday will host a band and a chef demonstration. While listening to the tunes of the Thirsty Gringos, we got the pleasure of witnessing Parlor Market's demo of a blackberry and tomato summer salad. Yum!

We stocked up on some handmade soaps made with local ingredients, Delta stone ground grits, and of course sampled the wine and lemonade. Next time we will defiantly have dinner plans so we can sample more I the food.

I hope to see you there next week.
