Scott Antique Market- The Mothership

Since discovering Scott Antique Market of Atlanta a year ago with my mom and sisters, and Miss B of course, I anxiously await the second weekend of every month, so I can make my monthly hajj to MY Mecca to buy some sort of fabulous addition to the house that doesn't exist...not yet at least.
Scott's has everything from Trina Turk pillows to vintage finds from all over. I've found fabulous mid-century prints and artists who actually paint their own works of art on-site. Scott's has two large buildings full of product on either side of the interstate, and for only $5 you can spend your weekend searching for the best home goods and not to mention some of the best BBQ (no offense to those from Memphis).
I thought I would share a few of my finds...I was only there for a day and thank goodness, because it could have been a lot worse. Enjoy!

This is for my friend Ashley Warren who loves that vintage look of a farm table.

I have been saying for months I would find the perfect cowhide, and I did. It was fascinating to browse through the different ones. Each one told a story with each animal's different scars and some even had multiple branding marks. That's authentic folks. Mom even got one for herself.

My cowhide along with my pillows...I hate matchy matchy, but it's always important to have a little flow/theme to your room.
The pillows were great--not too bold with color, but also trendy with the ikat and trellis patterns.
These large Asian calligraphy brushes are everywhere
my precious foo dogs even coordinate

Back at home I  stopped by a great family friend's store, Studio Eclectic and picked up a couple of things.

I absolutely love Stray Dog Designs, and I love my crazy peacock.

some stackable jars...one can hold the dog treats and the other can hold my treats (dark chocolate must be involved)

Scott's is over, but it will return October 7, 8 and 9. I hope you are inspired to make the journey next month.

Cheers and happy weekend ( almost)!
